Shame on Ed or "Woody" is a 2004 son of Baskhere. Baskhere was bred by Lasma and from the second to last foal crop of *Bask. Baskhere's dam, Lalyfa, was sired by Canadian National Champion Stallion Sir Lancer.

Woody's dam JK Lauren Baikal also goes back to *Bask. Her sire Amurath Baikal, 1980 US Reserve National Futurity Champion Stallion, was also sired by *Bask and out of *Sanacht one of the breeds all time champion producing mares. JK Lauren Baikal is also very closely related to National Champion JK Jedi. Percentage wise Woody is 37.50% *Bask bred and also goes back to the legendary stallions Ga'Zi and Abu Farwa.
