1962 Brown Overo Stallion - APHA # 1525
In 1964, Adios Amigos was named National Champion 2-year-old Stallion. The following year, he won Reserve National Champion 3-year-old Stallion and also won the reining, making the highest score ever and for a long time to come on a Paint reining score card.
Adios Amigos contributed to the breed mostly as a sire of performers and as a broodmare sire, although he has some outstanding halter horses to his credit. Even as late as 1990, he featured in the Leading Sires lists of performance points earners, ROM qualifiers, ROMs earned, halter point earners and APHA Champions.
He has sired National Champions, Reserve National Champions and a Supreme Champion, and is a Leading Sire of Leading Dams and Lifetime Leading Dams.
